Finding
Your Nine Star Ki Number
First
you need to find your own three Nine Star Ki Numbers and use
the tables on the next page.
| First
Number |
Determined
by the Qi of your year of birth. Your driving force or
your inner most path of destiny. Mostly comparable - but
not to be mistaken with - your sun sign in occidental
astrology.
|
| Second
Number |
Determined
by the Qi of your month of birth. Comparable with your
moonsign. Also called ‘child’ Number, because it shows
how you perceived the world during childhood. It also
shows emotions and temperament when under stress or in
a dependent situation in adult life.
|
| Third
Number |
Comparable
with your ascendent in western astrology. It shows how
others may perceive you. Sometimes called ‘destiny’ Number
because it is claimed by some that it shows your goal
in later life and how you go about things in daily life.
|
For
directionology purposes 5 Earth males adopt the 2 Earth Number
and 5 Earth females adopt the 8 Earth Number. 5 Earth people
travelling into the direction of Number 5 are therefore not
‘travelling towards their own Number’.
Your
third Number is not used to define character, and also not
for divination or directionology.
For
directionology, both your first and second Numbers are used.
Note however that there is a distinct difference in effect
when your first Number travels into a certain direction, than
when your second Number travels into a certain direction.
We
need to really study dynamics of first and second Numbers
in order to have a good idea of their difference, something
this article will not allow. However, your first Number dominates
your professional – outward -, life more, whilst your second
Number dominates your inner – emotional - life more.

Finging
your first Number
Look up your year of birth in this table. Shown are
years from 1910-2008. Please note that a Nine Star Ki
year runs from either 4 or 5 February of any given year,
until 3 or 4 February of the following year. If you
were born anywhere between 1 January and 3 or 4 February,
you need to consider yourself as having been born in
the previous year. Years given in bold face started
5 Februari.

Finding
your second Number
Use the second column if your first Number is either
1,4 or 7 and find your second Number against your month
of birth. If your first Number is 3,6 or 9 use the third
column and when your first Number is 2,5 or 8 use the
fourth column. Be advised that a Nine Star Ki month
starts anywhere between 4th and 9th. If you are born
between the 1st or 9th of a month you may need to add
one Number. For verification you may e-mail Xi Lu with
your time and place of birth.

He
Luo
A
teacher of teachers and professional practitioners,
his colleagues consider He Luo Holland's number one
expert on Xuan Kong Feng Shui, Four Pillars of Destiny
astrology and Nine Star Ki. Born from Dutch parents
- given name Roel Hill - he carries a drop of Chinese
blood, becoming apparent through his constant involvement
in and deep inner commitment to oriental esoterics from
early childhood on. He is internationally appreciated
for his empathic, yet down-to-earth approach.
E-mail
our office if you would like to sponsor He Luo's long
standing professional educational program "Destiny Consultant"
for your country. Combining Heaven, Man and Earth Luck
studies, the program aims to reach 'destiny change'
in your own live as well as in the lives of others.
Program
includes four-days intensives of indepth, academic and
up to date studies in Xuan Kong Feng Shui, Four Pillars
of Destiny and Nine Star Ki. Each four-day intensive
can be given seperately, or you can organize the entire
program, leading up to a final closed door studygroup
of proficient students.
