>> 8 Mansions Feng Shui.
Also
known as the Pa Kua Lo Shu or the East West System as it is more
popularly referred to, the Eight Mansions is one of the most potent
formulas in Feng Shui.
The
8 Mansions is based on the Trigrams of the Pa Kua. These are then
used in conjunction with a persons date of birth to ascertain
a person's personal directions and sectors. Everyone is blessed
with four positive directions and four negative directions.
Within
the 8 Mansions system, every individual is divided into either
an East group or West group person. And each person, like a magnetically
charged pole has their own personal directions. You can then tap
into your personal direction to enhance the different life aspects
that each direction represents.
The
4 Cardinal Positive Directions
| Sheng
Chi |
Referred
to by Grand Master Yap Cheng Hai as the life generating
or wealth enhancing Chi. Governs personal wealth, political
aspirations, business prosperity, authority and auspicious
luck. This direction is said to be responsible for a person's
overall well being.
|
|
Tien
Yi
|
Heavenly
Doctor. Referred to as such because this is the direction
and location that governs health. Those recovering from
illnesses should also pay special attention here. Also this
direction is said to bring the right person to you at the
right time.
|
|
Nien
Yin
|
This
handles relationships; marital, family and all affairs of
the heart in between. Also responsible for a persons networking
and public relations. Those looking to have kids or finding
the right partner should take a look at their Nien Yin sector.
|
|
Fu
Wei
|
The
last of the good directions, Fu Wei deals with a persons
mental and personal stability. It is considered by many
to be the calming direction. Governs personal development,
meditation and cultivation of an individuals personal growth.
Excellent for meditation and spiritual development. Might
suit those who find themselves constantly restless.

The
4 Cardinal Negative Directions
|
Ho
Hai
|
Minor
mishaps and accidents are the major influence of this direction.
This may cause slowdowns in your projects and little obstacles
in many aspects of your life. Most of them annoying rather
than destructive but it always seems like there's always
some small hurdle to cross.
|
|
Wu
Gwei
|
Often
referred to as the direction of the 5 Ghosts. A direction
that could lead to arguments, political backstabbing as
well as disharmony. You may also face disloyalty from those
whom you once trusted. Some people may even find themselves
being less trusting of others. A lack of enthusiasm and
drive is also a significant detriment of the Wu Gwei direction.
It may even lead to adultery.
|
|
Liu
Sha
|
The
Six Killings is a highly disruptive and destructive direction.
Leading to injury and accidents within your career. Any
projects you may be undertaking could also turn out a dismal
failure. Harm may also befall a person facing his personal
Liu Sha direction. This could be due to robbery, theft or
fires. Scandals, perhaps even those relating to sexual affairs
could arise. Children may even turn against their own parents
and inadvertently a loss of wealth could be the dire consequence.
|
|
Chueh
Ming
|
The
direction often referred to as the total loss direction
by many Feng Shui practitioners. It may even be life threatening
and is similar to the effects of the Five Yellow star (of
the Flying Star school). Any project you undertake may fail
even before you begin. If you're in business, you may face
problems of corruption, fraud and embezzlement. Accidents
and life threatening incidents could also crop up routinely.
Emotional instability could also lead to family disharmony
and break-ups.
