Ms. Susan Chow is a popular Feng Shui practitioner based in Toronto, Canada. She was born in Hong Kong, where she was raised in traditional Chinese culture. A graduate from Ryerson Polytechnical University, Ms. Chow has more than 14 years experience in the corporate world. Having studied traditional Feng Shui under Master Raymond Lo (Hong Kong) and Grand Master Yap Cheng Hai, she now holds a "Feng Shui Mastery" diploma from the Yap Cheng Hai Feng Shui Centre of Excellence™. More information on Ms. Chow can be found on her site.

This site is pretty much straightforward with no heavy-loading graphics or flash images, hence it loads quite fast. The overall design is simple and neat, and visitors will find this site easy to navigate. The left side navigation bar is in red, conforming to the Chinese belief that bright red is an extremely auspicious color. It certainly complements the creamish-beige color used for the information platform.

A site-map, although not provided, would not be necessary as the web site is not very wide and it does not get further than the pages already available. There is a friendly feedback form where users can easily communicate with the owner of the site.

In the introduction to her site, Ms. Chow clearly states that she advocates traditional Feng Shui and does not promote any other schools. She conducts Feng Shui consultations for residential, commercial and industrial premises and also teaches Feng Shui classes through the Yap Cheng Hai Center of Excellence™. Details of consultations and classes are included in her site. There is also a listed guide of services offered by the Feng Shui National Inc.

In the 'Articles' link is an interview with Ms. Chow by the Chicago's Monthly Aspectarian, where she explains traditional Feng Shui in brief and her studies under Grand Master Yap Cheng Hai. A FAQ on the site answers some basic questions of Feng Shui and also clears doubts of what Feng Shui can do (improve your living and working environment) and cannot do (turn you into an overnight millionaire).

There are only a couple of links to other sites which endorses authentic Feng Shui. A whole page dedicated to introducing Ms. Chow's premier Feng Shui teacher, Grand Master Yap Cheng Hai is specially highlighted in the side navigation bar. There are also quite a few photos of Ms. Chow by herself and with other Feng Shui masters.

There is no indication as of when the site is updated. Nevertheless, the event calendar for Feng Shui seminars, workshops and courses is very much up-to-date. Most of these events listed are for programs held in Toronto, Canada.

Visitors can easily contact Susan or her representative through a form in her site. If emailing is not your cup of tea, the postal address of the Feng Shui National Inc. is included as well. You can also call or fax them in the numbers listed in their 'Contact' page.

Conclusion : A rather commercial site with a simple design that serves its purpose. You won't find a lot of Feng Shui reading material here, but the listed guide of classes and workshop in Toronto (and some in North America) will be handy if you live near the area and are looking for such courses.
